RAPIDO 160 – I163 End Unit. This is a two meter top unit. It can be distinguished from the middle, and from the base units, because it has two horizontal bars, on each of it’s sides. The user of a scaffold should ensure that he stands inside a balcony which is one meter high. if the platform is more than a meter from the ground. Not only should there be a handrail at the top, but there should also be a middle rail, half way up from the platform. This bottom rail prevents the user from folding his legs outwards, at knee level, and possibly falling off the scaffold.
